Covid-19 Control Measures at the National Diving & Activity Centre, Chepstow

The Government lifted Covid restrictions on the 19th July, but warns that Coronavirus remains a serious health risk and advises that it’s important to stay cautious and help protect yourself and others.

At the National Diving & Activity Centre we will keep the following Covid measures in place to protect our staff and customers. These are a condition of entry to the site and will be reviewed regularly.

• Anyone with symptoms of Covid 19, or who has been in contact with someone with symptoms, must not visit the site

• If you have been asked to isolate, do not visit the National Diving & Activity Centre during your isolation period.

• We will require divers to continue to wear a face-covering on the minibus on the journey down and back from the water (no mask no lift).

• Customers are required to wear a face covering when inside the View Cafe Bar. These can be removed once seated.

• Visitors are asked to wear a face covering in any other areas of the site where they cannot maintain a 2m distance from others.

• We will continue to operate with a reduced capacity for diving and activities. Pre-booking via the online booking systems is required to gain entry.

• We will continue to keep restrictions in place for the toilets.

• The showers will remain closed for divers, freedivers and aqua park guests.

• We will trial the use of the changing rooms in the carpark with a restriction on numbers. This will be reviewed weekly.

• We will continue to provide hand sanitiser around the site and would encourage people to use it.

• The one way system will remain in the View Cafe Bar.

• We will continue to operate as a cashless site.

We all have a part to play in keeping each other safe and reducing the spread of Covid 19.

We thank you for your patience and understanding and hope it won’t be too long before we can return to normality.

If you have any specific questions or concerns please contact us.
