This
programme lets you experience the thrill of diving under the supervision
of a PADI Professional. During your adventure you’ll master
some basic concepts and scuba skills in a swimming pool environment,
followed by an Open Water dive at The National Diving & Activity
Centre.
Your instructor will introduce and explain the use of a mask, fins,
BCD, regulator and pressure gauge. You will briefly cover other
equipment new divers will wear; including exposure protection, weight
system and alternate air source. Following this you will be introduced
to breathing rules and equalization techniques.
Please Note
You must be 14 years of age or over and in good health. You will
be required to fill out a medical questionnaire and sign a liability
release form before the dive. We recommend that you look at the
medical questionnaire beforehand and if you answer ‘yes’
to any of the questions let us know at the time of booking.
