| The
race is on the win £4,000 holiday
Some say that he has a rubber duck fetish
all we know is that hes called The Stig!
This image of Top Gears tamed racing
driver holding a National Diving & Activity Centre (NDAC) branded
duck is the latest picture to be submitted in the Duck Dive photo
competition to win a stunning holiday in the Bahamas.
Since July, hundreds of divers have adopted
NDAC rubber ducks to help raise money for the UK Shark & Marine
Conservation organisation, Bite-Back. The only challenge has been
to submit a remarkable image of the duck for a chance
to scoop one of a dozen brilliant prizes.
Recently, scuba diver and PR man, Dominic Vizor,
grabbed his chance to win the trip of a lifetime at the launch of
the Top Gear Live world tour at Londons Royal Geographical
Society.
Although the famously anonymous and white-suited
racing driver didnt answer the question can I take a
photo of you holding this duck, he accepted the yellow bird
and studied it as Dom snapped away.
According to the judges, the image might just
be remarkable enough to take the top prize of a £4,000 holiday
to the Bahamas, courtesy of Dive Worldwide, Riding Rock Resorts
and the Bahamas Tourism Office.
Dominic Vizor said: While I was very
fortunate to be working with the Top Gear team that day, I think
being in the company of The Stig was the best bit. I didnt
think hed let me take his photo, but how cool is that?
To accommodate divers wanting to give
NDAC ducks as Christmas presents, the competition has been extended
by one month and now closes at the end of January. more>
For more information on the project and a chance
to adopt an NDAC duck visit the duck dive website at www.ndac.co.uk/ducks.
Each duck costs just £5.00, with all proceeds
going to support Bite-Back.
