from the site infrastructure works
These images show some of the new infrastructure
works that have been taking place at the National Diving & Activity
Centre recently - It clearly shows the car parking areas of the
site being enlarged to cater for the increasing number of divers
who have been coming to site over the summer break.
We hope you like the improvements and we are
still moving as quickly as possible to we continue to be the best
UK inland dive centre.
The large rock is the first rock to form a
natural boundary around the car parking areas - We will, over
the next 4 - 6 weeks, be collecting further large rocks from around
the site and dressing the car park accordingly. We believe that
recycling materials on site is far better than having to go further
a field. It is also in keeping with what the quarry was all
about before it became one of the UK finest inland dive sites.
The second picture shows 40 Tonnes of mill
blocks that recently arrived at the National Diving & Activity
Centre. They will form the new slip way entry/exit point to gain
access to our floating pontoons.
