tourist signage for National Diving and Activity Centre
Recent visitors to the National Diving &
Activity Centre might have noticed some new signage in the area.
After a lot of work to obtain authorisation
from the Welsh Assembly, we have managed to have a brown sign installed.
To achieve this we had to ensure that we met the requirements of
the Highways Agency's National Standards for trunk road signage.
Brown signs are traffic signs for tourist businesses
and are mainly provided to direct visitors to their intended tourist
destination towards the end of their journey.
The new sign directs visitors to the centre
from the main A48 road as you come off the M48 Motorway.
The sign was erected last week at a cost of £350.
If you miss the brown sign, you certainly won't
miss this one, which we think is the biggest
sign in Chepstow>
