 On Saturday
10th January 2009, 128
scuba divers braved the freezing winter temperatures and broke the world record for the highest number of divers ironing at
the same time underwater.
In addition to breaking the world record, the
aim was to raise money for the RNLI, the charity of choice for the
forum for 2008-2009.
We are very pleased to announce that the final figure raised for the RNLI from
this event through application fees, sponsorship and a charity raffle is a fantastic £14,000.
Thanks goes to the organisers and everyone who took part or helped with the event. Give yourselves a big pat on the back!
