Double Dip Freedive Competition at NDAC

Double Dip 2008, an AIDA Ranked Freedive Competition in Constant Weight, Constant Weight No Fins and Free Immersion will take place at the NDAC on 12th and 13th July 2008. more>

Cardiff Bus & NDAC have linked up to offer two new impressive attractions in the form of a single deck and a double deck bus.

These attractions will not only be new underwater attractions and swim through attractions, but also fantastic training platforms.

Triathlon - are you tough enough?

This Summer the 'Big & Little Woody' Triathlon Events are going to be held at the National Diving & Activity Centre.

The date of the event is Saturday the 16th August 2008, so there's plentry of time to get prepared and start training.

A triathlon is an endurance sports event consisting of swimming, cycling and running over various distances.

New Buildings Arrive at Chepstow's
National Diving & Activity Centre

Recent visitors can't of helped missing the five modular units that arrived on site at the end of February.

Prior to the arrival of the buildings we were extremely busy completing the groundworks and installing support foundations.

The roof section of the new building has now been made water tight and a re-fit of the building is currently taking place.

As you can see from the photos, there's a lot to do and these works will probably take several months.

Pontoon road improvements complete

We are extremely pleased to announce that the recent construction works to build our new road to the turning circle and pontoons have now been completed.

Many thanks for your support while was being built and we hope you're as pleased with the results as we are.

NDAC awarded PADI Five Star – Instructor Development Centre.

We are extremely pleased to announce that the National Diving and Activity Centre has been awarded the status of PADI Five Star Instructor Development Centre (IDC).

A PADI Five Star Instructor Development Centre (Five Star IDC) not only meets all PADI Five Star Dive Centre standards, but also meets additional training standards required to offer PADI Instructor-level training. A PADI Five Star IDC offers dive consumers programs to fulfill their educational goals from entry-level training up through instructor-level certifications.
