Extreme Underwater Ironing

It’s not long now until the 2011 Extreme Underwater Ironing Event. You have until the 17th September to register for the event.

The 2011 Extreme Underwater Ironing Event
is being held at the National Diving & Activity Centre on Saturday 1st October 2011.

In 2009 UK divers broke the world record for the most number of divers ironing underwater at the same time raising over £14,000 for the RNLI.

128 scuba divers braved the freezing winter temperatures, to attempt to break the world record, previously held by the Australians, for the most number of divers ironing at the same time underwater.

Two years later, the event is back! On Saturday 1st October 2011 we will attempt to break our record, whilst raising money for three very worthy charities:

Scuba Trust

Families of the fallen

Registration is open for the event by completing the online registration form >.

Once registered a deposit of £10 made payable to ‘NDAC Ltd’ will need to be sent to:
The National Diving & Centre, Tidenham Quarry, Tidenham, Chepstow, NP16 7LH

Applications must be received two weeks prior to the event. Please write your name and postcode on the back of the cheque. You can recover your deposit from your sponsorship money.

If you have already registered we look forward to seeing you and hope you are getting lots of sponsorship for our three charities. You can download more sponsorship forms here>.
