In a free presentation, Instructor Gareth Burrows explains how divers get themselves into trouble and, more importantly, how they get themselves out of it.

Trapped inside a Wreck A horrifying tale of what happens when overconfidence leads to disaster, Gareth explains how a diver found themselves trapped inside a wreck at 45 metres, alone and without a torch, and involves the audience in answering the question “how could this have been avoided”.
Entangled in the shallows Imagine how terrifying it must be to be totally entangled in fishing line, unable to get free, able to see the surface only a few feet away. Learn what tools to take with you, and what to leave at home. Learn how to get yourself free if you become entangled, and how to avoid getting into trouble in the first place.
Sucking the Reg dry. It’s everyone’s nightmare, but it’s still the biggest cause of diving fatalities. Learn the truth behind how it feels to run out of gas, what to do if it happens, and how to avoid it happening in the first place. Learn how to keep cool and save your life, or someone else’s.

With breathtaking views overlooking our Chepstow quarry, the View Café Bar serves an extensive range of hot & cold meals as well as a wide selection of beers, wines and soft drinks from the licensed bar.
