The
NAS Combined Introduction and Part I Certificate in Foreshore and
Underwater Archaeology.
4th-6th September 2009 at the National Diving & Activity Centre
(NDAC), Chepstow.
This three day course combines both the
NAS Introduction to Foreshore and Underwater Archaeology and the
Part I Certificate.
With a mix of theory
and practical session the course will take you from an introduction
to maritime archaeology and principles of 2D survey through to some
of the different aspects of running archaeological projects and
3D survey work.
During the second and
third days there will be an opportunity to put this knowledge into
practice, carrying out a mini 3D survey project at the National
Diving & Activity Centre (NDAC).

Thanks to funding from Cadw this course is being offered for just
