| Mister
Wales Charity Challenge Day
On Saturday 05th July 2008, 10am
5pm we hosted a charity fun day for The Joshua Foundation, a Childrens
Charity from Cardiff with some of the the fittest young men from
all around Wales taking part in some arduous activities throughout
the day.
There were 30 young men trying to get through
to the final of Mister Wales and as part of their quest they had
to raise money for The Joshua Foundation. Together we helped the
guys raise over £7500 for this very worthy cause. Many thanks
to all who gave their support and sponsorship for the event.
The
Guys were hanging 200ft off ropes and abseiling into the quarry.
Also during the day there was a number of team building and command
task activities designed to put them through their paces, all in
the aide of charity. The day finished off with a BBQ and drink to
celebrate their achievements.
The Joshua
Foundation is a charity created in 1998 to provide holidays
and experiences for children and their families, where the child
is diagnosed with terminal cancer.
