A call for help . . .
Dear Diver,
My name is Marcus Morris and I am hoping that
you can help me with a project I am working on.
I am developing a product that provides information
to divers through a Head-Up-Display (HUD) unit that clips to any
conventional diving mask.
It is not intended to be a rival to (e.g.)
the Oceanic Data Mask because it delivers only a portion of that
products functionality and does not fully replace your existing
diving instruments. However, it delivers the information in an intuitive
and innovative way and is intended to free-up the diver to focus
upon other tasks, such as navigating in conditions of low visibility
and, well, just enjoying the dive really.
You might describe it as adding a rather subtle
sixth sense of a fishy-kind to your diving armoury.
To
help me to complete and test my prototype I am looking for a pressure
sensor of the kind found in dive computers and some dive watches.
If you have an old broken dive watch or broken dive computer containing
such a sensor (in working order), I would be very pleased to hear
from you and make you a reasonable cash offer for the item.
The prototype doesnt yet look quite like
the product visualisation (right) but with your help it soon will!
If you think you can help, please contact me. You can even get involved
in the trials if you so wish!
