To adopt a duck you will need to download and complete an application form and send it with a cheque for £5 to the National Diving & Activity Centre.

Please make your cheques payable to NDAC Ltd and send them to the National Diving & Activity Centre, Tidenham Quarry, Tidenham, Chepstow, NP16 7LH. Adoption forms and ducks are also available at the NDAC shop.

All money raised goes to The Shark and Marine Conservation Group - Bite-Back. The UK's only organisation dedicated to the protection of sharks by reducing consumer demand for its meat and fins.

Once we have processed your application, you will be sent a duck and an adoption certificate containing your duck's unique name and registration number; you will need this information to enter the competition.

The NDAC ducks have been turning up all over the country; if you have already found a duck around the area, you will still need to adopt him/her if you wish to enter the competition.

Once you have adopted your duck you will need to take it everywhere with you and look after it. Remember they are still ducklings, so will require lots of attention and care! To enter the competition you need to submit a photograph of your duck in an exciting, exotic or wacky location. more>
